Bank Sampah SMPN 1 Jaken Aktif Kembali Pasca Pandemi
Smpnjaken.sch.id – Rabu, 1 Maret 2023 Dalam rangka mengendalikan timbulnya sampah di lingkungan sekolah. TIM Adiwiyata SMP Negeri 1 Jaken mengaktifkan kembali “Bank Sampah” yang ada di Sekolah.
Menurut Koordinator Bank Sampah Ibu Eakandari Harjanti, S.Si., M.Si. Bank Sampah di SMP Negeri 1 Jaken ini sempat berhenti karena adanya Pandemi Covid-19 dan Harus diaktifkan kembali untuk mengelola timbulan sampah yang ada dilingkungan sekolah.
Bank sampah ini dimulai dari masing-masing kelas. Dengan membiasakaan kepada diri siswa untuk memilah-milah sampah Organik dan AN-organik. Sampah yang telah dipilah akan dimasukkan ke dalam karung dan setiap sebulan sekali diadakan penimbangan masal sampah AN-organik atau Plastik dari masing-masing kelas.
Saat ditemui di ruangan Bapak Slamet Suladi, S.Pd., M.Pd selaku kepala sekolan SMP Negeri 1 Jaken menuturkan bahwa Kegiatan pengelolaan sampah dengan adanya “Bank Sampah” ini sangat penting dilakukan di sekolah. Agar lingkungan sekolah senantiasa bersih dan sehat. Saya lihat para siswa juga antusias sekali dalam mengikuti kegiatan pengelolaan sampah melalui “Bank Sampah” ini. Semoga memberikan dampak yang positik terhadap karakter dan kepribadian siswa kita. TIM Redaksi.
